In February 2024, I had the chance to speak at an IDSA Boston Creative Entrepreneurship event to reflect on my journey of running Spatial Dynamics over the last four years. In this talk, I went over the basics of starting and structuring a design studio, and some personal lessons I’ve learned along the way.

Encouraged by the success of the Arcade Party, Spatial Dynamics embarked on its next themed event in collaboration with MIT's AI research lab, MIT Hanlab. Dr. Han, the director of Hanlab and a longstanding ally of our team, spearheads innovative AI research across various domains, including Large Language Models (LLM), AI-Generated Content (AIGC), TinyML, and hardware development. Over the past two years, our team has been working closely with Hanlab to explore various applications for their AI technology, particularly in the world of tiny machine learning.

In April of 2023, I had a great time speaking on behalf of Spatial Dynamics at the Boston Hardware Meetup in Lumafield. My talk was called “Designing Without Designers.”

In 2022, Spatial Dynamics had the opportunity to work with Makerbot to do some experimenting on their new printer called Method X. We had such a great time on the project, they even made a video highlighting our studio.
